ENDS IN DEATH

(BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION .1 DANNEVIRKE, Get. 1. An inquest was held this morning concerning the death of Ida Jeannie Guff, aged 24 years, who was found dead in P. T; Pritchard’s dental rooms on Tuesday morning. The evidencedisclosed that on Monday evening deceased and a young man with whom she was keeping company twice quarrelled. On the second occasion, when they painted, each went in different directions. Nothing was seen of deceased until she was found dead next morning under a bench in the workroom of the surgery, covered with a rug.

The coroner found that death was due to coal gas poisoning, selfadministered while in a state of severe mental depression, following on a quarrel with the witness A. H. Toomer.
