SUPREME COURT.
CHARGE OF ARSON. (BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) AUCKLAND, August l. Thomas Heaton appeared before Mr Justice Herdman in the Supreme Court to-day charged with having set on fire his own premises in Queen Street, Northcote, on March 23. He pleaded not guilty. After a trial occupying nearly two days the jury failed to agree and a new trial was ordered for next session.
