o Received November 5, 10.24 p.m London, November 5 At a banquet at Ottawa in honour of the Mikado's birthday, Sir Wilfred Laurier remarked that as Japanese tea was in nearly every Canadian house hold, he hoped that Canadian food products would soon be ou every Japanese table. He expected that the commercial convention just concluded would produce extensive trade between Canada and Japan.
