Received November 1,10.34 p.m London, November 3 President Roosevelt's unprecedented intervention in the New York State aleetion campaign is likely to cause Mr Hearst's defeat. Mr Root's terrible arraignment of Mr Hearst for sowing the sseds of class hatred, fomenting discontent and inciting the men who murdered President McKinley, has caused a tremendous sensation. Almost ail the New York journals enthusiastically applaud President Roosevelt's impressive and startling note of warning.
