The schooner Gisborne sails for Auckland at 8 o'clock this evening. The steamer Star of England is expected to arrive here on December 6. The Hospital Sports Committee met last night to make final arrangements for the ■ports to be held next Monday, Several matters were mentioned and settled, and everything tends to show that tbs Hospital will greatly benefit by this year's sports. The Committee have wisely decided to keep ths gates on this occasion, and the public would do well to bear in mind that every person who enters the gates is so much towards a good cause, while at the same time they get a good return for their money.
