London, November 18. The strikers and public are boycotting the few unyielding bakeis, and bread has in consequence been raised a half-penny. The leaders in the late strike only received bare expenses. Malta is being defended with Brennan torpedos. Pants, November 17. The Prince of Wales has arrived in thia city on his return from Fgypt. Naw Yobk, Nov. 17. Jefferson Davis is in a precarious state of health. Berlin, November 17. Emperor William has returned after his recent travelling tour. Berlin, November 19. An explosion occurred to-day at a gun powder factory at Hanan, a manufacturing town of Prussia, by which 24 persons were killed, and others wounded. Calcutta, November 18. A serious charge, one of the most revolting character, is being brought against the Maharajah of Dhownmyzar. It is probable the Government will order an official enquiry into the charge.
