At the Bow-street (London) Police Court, on April Bth, probably the biggest prisoner who has ever been in the dock there, or anywhere else, answered to a charge of drunkiness and assaulting the police. He was 7ft sin. in height, and built in proportion! The Daily Telegraph report of the oectarence states that the prisoner was with difficulty arrested, and its veracity in tlr’g respect w’li no doubt pass unquestioned.
