LARGE INCREASE IN LICENSES TO IMPORT WOMEN’S STOCKINGS
'.TELLINGTON, November 11. The supply of fully fashioned hosiery is being doubled in the Dominion. The Customs Department has announced that the import licences for fully fashioned hosiery (nylon, silk, art silk and cotton) have been increased from 50 per cent, of 1949 to 100 per cent, of 1949.
