Employment of Germans At British Airfield

LONDON. November 10. More than half the British staff at civil airfields in ths British zone of Germany are to be replaced by Germans. Announcing this in the House of Lords, the Lord Chancellor (Viscount Jowitt) gave an assurance that the Germans would be employed mainly on administrative work and.would not be allowed to gain Hying experience or knowledge of aviation developments. Lord Jowitt said that there would be a saving of £36,000 at once and later £50,000 a year. Security, he said, would not be impaired.
