Timber Workers’ Union Annual Meeting

The annua! general meeting of the Westland Timber Workers’ Union was held at the Lyceum Hall on Saturday last, when the following officers were er-elected, unopposed. — President Mr J. Reedy; vice-president Mr F. R'Udkin; secretary, Mr F. L. Turley; trustees, Messrs E. Johnston and K. Ogilvie. The following officers were elected Delegates to the West Coast Trades Council: Messrs Rudkin, Reedy, J. Comport, and E. Johnston; delegates to the Westland L.R.C.: Messrs E. Johnston and F. Rudkin. For the committee the nominations are in excess of the number required and ballots will be held in this case. The nominations aro--South area (-D Messrs G. A. Oates, J. Comport, H. Robinson and W. Lawrence; North Area (3)—Messrs M. Crimmons, P. Rodgers, W. Smith, J. Nyberg and J. H T, nes.
