U.S. FLIGHT LASTS SIX. WEEKS AND OVER FOUR DAYS
(Rec. 11.5). NEW YORK, Oct. 11. Two weary fliers landed in a smallplane at Yuma, Arizona, yesterday, after setting a new world endurance flight record of forty-six days twenty hours eighteen minutes. They are Yuma business men, Woody Jongeward and Bob Woodhouse. They had intended to stay aloft indefinitely, but a burned-out magneto forced a change in their plans. The previous record was forty-two days.
