The burial of Mr Michael Boyle, of Ross, took place at Karoro Cemetery yesterday. The funeral was attended by many friends of the deceased. The Rev. Father T. Farrell celebrated Requiem Mass at St. Patricks Chui ch, and conducted the services at the graveside, assisted by the Rt. Rev. Monsignor J. Long and Rev Fathers J. Egan, R. O’Gorman (Wataroa), D. Lordan (Hokitika), and J. Quin? (Ngahere).

Subjects affecting harbour administration were considered at the annual conference of the Harbour Board Executive Officers’ Association of New Zealand at New Plymouth to-day when the following officers were elected: —President, Mr W.
