Western Diplomats Accused of Spying On The Soviet

MOSCOW, October 9.

Tiie British and United States Embassies in Moscow are accused of being “nests of espionage” in a book appearing on Moscow bookstalls, which is said to have been written by a British journalist named Ralph Parker.

The book, entitled “Conspiracy against Peace”, explains that Parker wrote it as a result of his 15 years’ 'experience as a correspondent in the Balkans and Moscow for the London Times and the London NewsChronicle. Parker in the book accuses Mr Frank Roberts, British Minister in Moscow from 1945 to 1947, of being the man behind the anti-Russian campaign. He claims that members of the British Embassy—under American influence—conducted antiRussian propaganda from the beginning of the war.
