ATHLETICS Overdue Subs
P.A. AUCKLAND, October 6. “I am surprised that Mr Tracy has bothered to mention the fact of the non-payment of Auckland’s registration fee and its subscription”, said Mr V. May (treasurer of the Auckland Centre of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic .Association) to-day. He was commenting on the announcement by the treasurer, Mi- L. A. Tracy, at the annual meeting of the Association in Wellington. ‘‘Our books closed only last Friday, and I have been preparing a full statement, rather than send money piecemeal. Our cheque should be on the way before the end of this week”.
