Fall of Rock On Rewanui Line Idles Liverpool Mine
A fall of rock on the Rewanui line overnight on Wednesday idled the Liverpool mine yesterday. On reaching the slip, which was in the vicinity of Williams and Party’s mine, it was apparent that it would take a few hpurs to restore the line to order and the miners decided to return home.
The debris was cleared shortly after mid-day and normal traffic i ed the line thereafter.
