BOXING
IRISH CHAMP TO VISIT N.Z. P.A. WELLINGTON, October 5. The former featherweight boxing champion of Europe, and the sometime United States Golden Gloves champion, and the present lightweight champion of Eire, Paddy Dowdall, is the gymnastic instructor in the Dominion Monarch which is now bound for New Zealand. According to private advice received in Wellington, Dowdall will be seeking fights in New Zealand in the lightweight or featherweight ranks.
