FOXFABLE LIKELY IN EGMONT CUP

The Egmont Racing Club’s meeting will open to-day, when the. principal race to come up tor decision is the Egmont Cup. Although lie disappointed at his last attempt, Foxtable is expected to make a good showing in this event. Pie has been pitted against good class in his recent efforts in the north, but as those opposed to him on this occasion are not of such calibre, he may make amends. The win and place system of betting will be in use, and the followin'horses may be prominent.
