MR NASHON TOUR OF FACTORIES IN AUCKLAND AREA

Special to Argus) AUCKLAND ,Feb. 24 One of the most comprehensive tours of New Zealand industries yet made bv a Cabinet Minister is being undertaken by the Rt. Hon. Walter Nash, Minister of Finance and Customs, who is spending a fortnight in Auckland. Mr Nash, who arrived on Monday by air from Wellington, visited the first factory a. pottery works, within an hour of aligting at Whenuapai, and he will combine visits to factories with offical engagements until he has employed his itinerary which embraces 29 of the main industries in Auckland. The Minister’s tour, which was arranged by the Auckland Labour Representation Committee, will vive Mr' Nash a first-hand insight into modern developments in the industrial field in Auckland, which has become easily the greatest industrial centre of the Dominion. In addition, Mr Nash is to address the Auckland and North Shore Labour Representation Committees, and the Auckland Trades and Labour Council, as well as receiving a number of important public matters.
