Store sheep.—The entr v was 8000 lambs; 11,813 aged ewes; 2446 two tooths, and 751 wethers. The sale was buoyant in all classes, and values were up to 2s higher. There was a good selection of lambs. The sale opened quietly, but soon rose 2s. Top price was 365. The 1 best made 30s to 365; good 27s to 29s 6d; medium 23s to 265; ordinary 19s fid to 22s 6d and culls sold down to 16s. The best tow-tooths made 50s 6d to s(?s 6d; good 40s to 465; medium 34s to 395. Others were down to, 255. ,The adult ewes were/entered from Otago, Marlborough and all of Canterbury.
