REEFTON, Feb. 22.
Eight members of Reefton Ladies’ Bowling Club journeyed to Westport to take part in the West Coast tournament, which is being played this week.
Mr J. Eager, who had the misfortune to injure a knee three weeks ago has entered the Grey River Hospital for treatment. Mr and Mrs Prince, of Hamilton, are on a visit to their daughter and son-in-law, Mr and Mrs A. Thompson The Reefton. district coal mines for the week ended February 17 produced 1399 tons for consignment by rail. Mr V. L. Newcombe has left by air for Wellington. Messrs C. Carr (Wellington) and W. and G. McLean are visiting relatives at Reefton.
