WELLINGTON’S FRESH MEAT PROBLEM

WELLINGTON, Feb. 22

Members of the Wellington Master Butchers’ Association, which has been drawing public attention to the difficulties of maintaining supplies of fresh meat since the wholesale price order came into operation, were addressed last night by Mr J. Perry, president of the New Zealand Master Butchers’ Federation. Subsequently the association decided to leave the making of representations to the Government to the federation, alter it had received . the viewpoints of other associations. These are expected to be available at a meeting of the federation to-day.
