KING TO RESUME STATE ENGAGEMENTS

The King, much improved in health, and the Queen will return to Buckingham Palace on Thursday from Sandringham, their country residence in Norfolk, where the King has been convalescing since January 8 The stay has helped the King considerably in his recovery from his illness. it was officially announced. The King will hold his first investiture of the year at Buckingham Palace on March 1. Princess Margaret’s Escorts Make News LONDON, Feb. 21. Princess Margaret’s social engagements and public appearances, with special reference to the identity and background of her escorts, have been making news in the American newspapers.
