War Preparedness Essential for Nations, Says Montgomery
ZURICH, Feb. 21 Field-Marshal Lord Montgomery said that war is a possibility for which a nation must be prepared. He added: "In the troubled world in which we live, to be unprepared and unready places a high trump card in the hands of a potential enemy. “Two essential cards to hold are national security and economic stability. Without them a nation is certain to have to sacrifice its principles oi independence, freedom and traditional way of life, or face defeat in war.”
