NEW POWER FLUID GOT BY ACCIDENT

(Rise 9.5) SYDNEY, February 22. A dental mechanic, Mr K. C. Shipworth, claims that, while mixing chemicals, some of which accidentally fell into a tin of water, he discovered a power fluid at least as good as petrol. He tested it in a heavy car engine. He found that it gave 21 mi]^s to the gallon. This liquid would cost 9d to Is per gallon. Fifty per cent, of water could be added to it. A syndicate is being formed to study the possibilities.
