RICH URANIUM FOUND IN FRANCE
(N.Z.P.A.—REUTER CABLE) (Rec. 8.30). PARIS, February 21. Samples of ore from St. Sylvestre, West-Central France, produced twenty per cent, of uranium—the highest yield in the world —when tested in Paris laboratories. The Mayor of St. Sylvestre, M. Jean Bouyer, said that quarrying had begun.
