CYCLING AUSTRALIAN CYCLISTS AT HAMILTON
P.A. HAMILTON. February 20. Unaccustomed to grass tracks. Ii Australian cyclists, K. Reynolds and S. Paterson, both pulled out of their respective heats in the open mile handicap cycling event at Hamilton yesterday, due to incorrect gearing on their bikes. In the invitation races thev had their gears corrected, and Paterson won the two miles from scratch, easily, in smm 33 4-ssec. After winning the 220 yards sprint match race by taking the first two events in 16 2-ssec and 16 3-10 sec respectively Reynolds withdrew from the two miles, after four laps.
