Gay Knight in Form for New Brighton Cup

Fields will be big at New Brighton to-day when the feature race wil. be the New Brighton Handicap of two miles. Although he disappointed his admirers at Addington last week Gay Knight is expected to make an improved showing on a grass course, and this may be his opportunity. Other fancied candidates are Victory Globe, Premier Royal, Wayfarer and Prince Hall, all of whom have to concede Gay Knight 12 yards. With the handicap in his favour he may prove the best of the favoured division. The win and place totalisators will operate. The following horses may show up:—
