ANGLO-GERMAN FRIENDSHIP URGED

(Rec. 10.5). LONDON, February 18. An appeal to all responsible persons in Britain and Germany to shed the enmity which had already caused two bitter wars was made by the British Military Governor in Germany, General Robertson, at Dusseldorf, says the Daily Telegraph’s correspondent there. General Robertson admitted, in reply to a German question, that the relations between the two countries had deteriorated, but he said that he regarded it as temporary. He ordered the establishment of a British Relations Board, which would advise and assist Germans in education, culture, youth training, and women’s affairs.
