N.Z. POSTS FOR BRITISH TEACHERS
WELLINGTON. Feb 18.
Eight English school-teachers arrived at Wellington on the Rakaia yesterday from Britain on exchange for a year with New Zealand school teachers, who left in the Ruahine last November.
Miss G. Cobblcdick, infant mistress from Walthamstow, London, will be given an appointment by the Auckland Education Board. Miss D. S. Huitt, of Eli bam, London, who ha been teaching infants at Stepany, London, will go to the Newmarket School, Auckland. Miss M. Muggridge, of Watford. Hartfordhire, formerly teaching junior pupils at the Garston primary school, is going to the Eastern Hutt School, Wellington. Miss I. M. Holland of Wem, Shropshire, who was at the Lyneal Church of England School, is going to the Nelson district as relieving teacher. Miss M. S. Pedlar, from North Kensington, London will teach inAnotlier infant, mistress, Miss J. M. Birkenhead( of Edmonlort. London, will teach children in Canterbury. Miss J. Sutherland, 8.A.. (University of Wales)., who' specialised in history a; the Winson Clive Girls’ School, Cardiff, expects to concentrate on social studies at a new job in the Christchurch Technical School
