“I CHOSE FREEDOM” M.SS IS HANDED IN
PARIS, February 17.
At the hearing of Victor Kravchenko’s libel suit against the Communist newspaper, Les Lettres Francaises, Kravchenko’s lawyer promised to produce photostatic copies of the original hand-written manuscript of Kravchenko’s book, “I Choose Freedom.”
Counsel for the defence, who alleges the book is a hoax, contended that such copies would not prove Kravchenko wrote the book, because there had been so much delay in producing the manuscript that it could have been faked in the meantime.
