TARANAKI DINGHY CAPSIZES IN SURF WITH FATAL RESULT

P.A. NEW PLYMOUTH, Dec. 19 One of two brothers, who were occupants of a dinghy that overturned in the surf off Ohawe beach, near Hawera, yesterday, was drowned. He was Bertram John Goodman aged thirty-five of Ohake, a gas works employee. He was exhausted when picked up on a surf ski, and he was dead when brought to the shore.
