SOVIET VERSION OF WAR MONGERS ON “BLACK LIST”

(Rec. 8.30) LONDON, Oct. 29 The Times Berlin correspondent states that the Russian-controlled press announces that a "biacK list” ox “war-mongers” has been started and that the ilrst twelve names already appeal - on it including Herr Jakoo Kaiser, leader of the Christian Democrats, Dr Friedensburg, the Acting Lord Mayor of Berlin, and several newspaper editors. "Tagliche Rundschau,” the Russian military administration's organ says: “For the first time in Germany’s history, the inciters to a new war have been individually named, and personally arranged. The day will come when they will be put on trial.” “War-monger” is defined as anyone who criticises the conditions in the Soviet Union, or raises doubts about tne high purposes of its policy.

Stalin Not Correct ? (Rec. 8.10) PARIS, Oct. 29 Western sources here asserted that M. Staim was wrong in saying in the interview that the Four Power Pact of August 30 last was an agreed solution to the Berlin dispute, it was, instead, subject to the four Military Governors in Germany agreeing to put it into effect. If any agreed solution had been reached in private talks in Pans with the Russians, then the Western Powers had not been informed of it.
