Married Ten Times !

SAN FRANCISCO, Californian psychiatrists are trying to discover what led- Francis J. Bressi to marry 10 times in five years. Bressi, who' is said by the psystiatrists to be in a “highly nervous and confused state of mind,” says he married the women because he ■“appealed to their motherly instincts.” Bressi revealed his marriages to the District Attorney because he was frightened he would marry again, and wanted help. “I remember all their names but one, but I don’t remember all the places I got married in, or when,” Bressi told the District Attorney. Police report they have found records of live of the marriages, no records of two, and are still searching the public records for details of the other three. Bressi says that only one of Ins marriages was annulled. The District Attorney has a problem in front of him. ‘We' are trying to contact the women, but they are scattered from Baltimore to Alaska,” he. said. “We can’t convict Bessi of bigamy on his own testimony. “But I think we’ll have to tie him up in the meantime —this has become a‘ pretty bad habit”.
