MARIST BROTHERS’ TOURNAMENT
The Marist Brothers’ Sports Organisation are staging a schoolboys Boxing Tournament at St. Columba Hall on Tuesday evening. The first bout is to commence at 7.30 o Nock. In addition to seventeen bouts, there will be five special bouts between competitors who nominated for the West Coast Amateur Championships, and which was cancelled. The selectors of the West Coast Boxing Association will be in attendance with a view to selecting any boys they consider worthy for the New Zealand Championships at Dunedin next month. , . . The special bouts will be between M. Tuck and L. O’Brien; V. Tuck and B. Eder; A. McPh’ee and W|. Hamilton; J. Fogarty and R. Wilson; “Chappie” Mundy and Pat Costello. The School Championship will be fought by P. McManus and D. Kelly.
