NEW CHEMICAL INDUSTRY SYDNEY. June 26. The Colonial Sugar Refining Company, Ltd., has decided to establish a £1,000,000 chemical industry in Sydney. When the factory will be in production' is dependent on the supply of building materials and equipment.
The worko will manufacture the entire Australian requirements of cellulose acetate, one of the main plaistics.
The company is now erecting a factory for the manufacture; of asphalt floor tiles which have not previously been manufactured in Australia.
