EIRE BANS PAPERS FOR INDECENCY
DUBLIN, May 16. The Dublin Gazette announced that the Eire Government has indefinitely banned the sale and distribution of the Sunday Pictoral, the People, London Opinion and Lilliput. It has also banned the Americanowned magazine Digest for six months. The ban is imposed on the grounds that the publications have frequently been indecent. The interdict includes Home Chat, which advocates birth control.
