Life Term for Shooting Air Raider
FRANKFURT, May 20. A United States military court here sentenced to life imprisonment, with forced labour, Fritz Schmauder, a young man of twenty-five. This was for shooting and killing a United States airman, who landed by parachute. The court took into consideration the excitable state of mind following upon an Allied air bombardment.
