MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEETS The weekly meeting of the. Buller Rugby Union was held on Saturday, Mr J. P. McEnaney presiding. Also present were: Messrs J. Banks, R. Pratt, J. Morgan, A. Mann, F. McHerron, E. Mcßride, H. Casey, H. Taylor, R. Hansby, and W. A. Craddock (secretary). It was decided on the motion of Mr Hansby that the Hurunui Sub-Union be acked if it would be agreeable io play a Buller B team at Ngakawau on June 1. If the sub-union accepted the offer, it was decided that the Buller Union would guarantee the visitors £l5 towards expenses. In the event of Hurunui accepting the offer, it was decided that a Possibles v. Probables match be played at Granity later in the season. It was resolved that the Buller Basketball Association be granted the use of Victoria Square on May ,24. It was decided that the Marlborough Union be advised that it was the wish of the Union to adhere to the decision of the Seddon Shield delegates who met prior to the annua] meeting of the N.Z. Rugby Union, that visiting representative players be issued with complimentary tickets for Seddon Shield matches. It was further resolved that all Seddon Shield Unions be advised of the decision. The reclassification of E. Walshe (Ngakawau) from senior to junior was approved. The nomination of a Pirate third grade team for the Foote Shield competition was approved. WEEK-END FIXTURES Fixtures for next week-end were arranged as follows:— Saturday: Seniors: Rangers v. Ngakawau at Ngakawau, 2.45 (J. Morgan). Sunday: Westport v. United at Wmmangaroa, 1.15 (G. Mason). Stars v. Rovers at Granity, 3.0 (G. Crackett). Old Boys a bye. Junior: Old Boys v. Star at trotting track, 2.45 (L. Eddy). Ngakawau v. Pirates at Denniston, 2.30 (W. Smythe). Rangers v. Mokihinui at Seddonville, 2.30 (G. Crackett). Rovers v. Westport at Granity, 2.45 (R. F. Marshall).
Phillips Cup: Star v. Old Boys at trotting track, 1.15 (J. Hunter). Foote Shield: Pirates v. Tech School at Tech, grounds, 1.15 (H. Williams).
