Filipino Check on Russian Immigration
MANILA, May 18. The Cabinet announced a modification of the Foreign Office declaration of May 9, that Russian immigrants would be denied entry because Russia had not recognised the independent Philippines Government. The Cabinet ruled that henceforth each application would be considered on its merits.
