WEST COAST TRADES COUNCIL ELECTS OFFICERS
At the annual meeting of the Trades Council on Saturday last, officers for the ensuing year were appointed. There was a large attendance of delegates. The following were elected:—President, Mr J. Doyle; secretary, Mr T. Pratt; vice-president, Mr S. Gladstone; national councillor, Mr T. Pratt; executive, Messrs R. Hall, J. Barrow, R. F. Heslop, J. Kennedy, and U. Mettrick.
