Oiera House Now Showing: “Renegades” (in technicolour), starring Evelyn Keyes and Willard Parker. “RENEGADES” Further enhanced by vivid technicolour, boasting a large and talented cast ehaded by Evelyn Keyes, Willard Parker, Larry Parks and Edgar Buchanan, and enjoying original story treatment, “Renegades” now showing at the Onera House is in the best tradition one of the screen’s most popular forms, the epic West. Action and romance are smoothly and effectively blended in “Renegades.” It tells the story of a beautiful frontier girl, Hannah Brockway (Evelyn Keyes), who, although engaged to a personable young doc-tor-crusader (Willard Parker), falls desperately in love with the one honest member of the notorius Dembrow family, Ben (Larry Parks). Ben tries hard to stay obreast of the law, but public sentiment against his name forces him to join nis marauding father (Edward Buchanan), and his two brothers (Jim Bannon and Forrest Tucker). Hannah, too, joins the band, when she gives up everything to marry Ben. The whole West rings with the cry, “Kill the Dembrows!” as they sweep across the plains, loving, looting, killing.
