Russia Seeks Air Pact With Persia
(Rec. 8.30). LONDON, May 2. The British United Press Teheran correspondent says that Persia has turned down renewed Russian demands for the immediate formation of a joint Russo-Fersian air company to operate in Northern Persia, saying that since they signed the International Air Agreement in Washington, they cannot grant monopolistic concessions to any single nation. They also asked that the Russians withdraw all their planes now using aerodromes in Northern Persia.
