LONDON DOCKERS RETURN TO WORK

LONDON, May 1. The London dock, strikers to-day decided at a mass meeting to return to work to-morrow. Reuter’s say that the decision was not unanimous. The open-air* meeting at which the vote was taken broke up in confusion with laxgc groups of men disputing the counting of the votes. An unofficial committee was formed to advocate continuance of the strike and a large number of men are expected to attend an earlymorning meeting to-morrow to hear the views of this group.

A union official maintained that the voting to-day approved the union’s recommendation that the best interests of the Glasgow men would be served if the constitutional procedure were followed.
