Sydney May Day Celebration

SYDNEY, May 2. More than 20,000 workers are expected to take part in May Day celebrations sponsored by Labour organisations on Sunday. The New South Wales Laboui Council is organising a procession, and is confident the marchers will be able to celebrate a Labour election victory. Voting in the State elections in New South Wales and Queensland will take place on Saturday. More than 100 trade unions will be represented in the procession. All New South Wales miners will celebrate May Day on Monday, as the first Monday in May is an official holiday for them.
