SQUATTERS IN ANOTHER HOUSE IN WELLINGTON

WELLINGTON, April 16. Squatters are active in another part of Wellington. A man and his- wife, with their two young children, have moved into the house near the top of the cable car formerly occupied by the general manager of the Kelbourne and Karori Tramway Co.,- Ltd., and his family for many years. This couple had been living in a single room for which they said they had been paying as much as £4 a week. They started out on a househunt and the premises at Kelburn were the first they had found vacant. The indications were that the house had been empty for some time. The elective light was disconnected, but the telephone, however, was still connected. The only cooking facilities available were from a coal range. 0 These squatters are expecting company. They said that, two more families proposed moving in.
