DUNEDIN, March 18. Mr John Flaherty, aged 55, engineer on the motor vessel Port Tauranga, berthed at Dunedin, was admitted to hospital on Tuesday evening with severe burns to his face and hands received when the flames from an oil-fuel burner blew back. He is reported to tbe making satisfactory progress. WELLINGTON, March 18. Sterling funds are shown at the record level of £98,007,854 in the Reserve Bank return for the week ended March 12. The total in the previous week Was £96,452,480.
