SKYLARK WINS MAIN EVENT
There Was a large attendance of racing fans at Harihari on Saturday when the club held its first meeting tor many years. The track was in excellent order. Results are as follows: —
Stockmans’ Handicap, four furlongs: Amber, scr (Ro.chford) 1; Star, scr (J. Hurren) 2; Bonny Glen. 36 (Herring) 3. Time: 55sec. Hack Trot, 11 miles: Ribbenwood, &>cr (Woolhouse) 1; Roman Nose (Gilligan) 2; Bonny (A. Graham) 3. Time: 3.58.
Nursery Handicap (two-year-olds), four furlongs: Lassie (C. McMillan) 1; Flicka (C. Nolan) 2; Braeburn (P. Haddock) 3. Time: 64sec.
Harihari Cup, one mile: Skylark, 24 (Rochford) 1; Crystal, scr (P. Haddock) 2; Hamish, 108 (Herring) 3. Time: 1.52. Skylark is owned and trained by Mr T. Adamson, Jacob’s River, ancT was ridden by Rochford. of Jacob’s River.
