The story leaves room for a fund of rich ribald humour, plenty of action, a lot of grandeur with its magnificent scenery, a lot of romance, and a lot of Yvonne De Carlo to be enjoyed. Naturally the lady falls in love in the picture, but she needs a loaded shot-gun to convince her man that a wedding ring is very necessary.. A very hectic and strenuous one-night honeymoon is climaxed when the lady promptly gives her bewildered spouse over to the law. His home-coming six years later is a riot, so is his 5-year-old daughter, who leads him and her mother right up the garden path. You can take a woman for better or worse —but —you can never take her for granted—because “The Lady Objects” is' one of the most enjoyable entertaining motion pictures that Hollywood has turned out In a very long time, and it had to be, to be filmed in such brilliant technicolour.
