WONDERFUL ESCAPES
(Rec. 10.25.) SYDNEY, Nov. 19.
Travellers were tossed into struggling, screaming heaps when two carriages of an electric train which was crammed with passengers, jump ed the points to-day. Passengers were showered with broken glass, but of 1000 people on the train, only seven required hospital treatment and only three were detained there. Casualties would have been, heavier if one car had not struck a steel stanchion. This prevented A from turning over on its side,
