LATE ADVERTISM ENT. NOTICE TO TIMBER WORKERS. CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY PERIOD. THE' employers have been requested by the Union to commence the Christmas Holiday period , as from the night of December the 20, and toresume working on January 9; and, further, to make arrangements where possible and necessary to let men away a day or two , earlier in cases where they wish to travel long distances. In the case of mills that are wording overtime on Saturdays, the above arrangements would not prevent work being performed on December 21 if desired and arranged. F. TURLEY, Secretary.
